Several years ago, God began dealing with our hearts about leaving everything familiar behind.
Like Abraham, we felt God saying, "Go to a place I will show you."
That journey led us from Memphis, Tennessee, to Central Florida.
- — We didn't move because we had opportunities waiting.
- — We didn't move because we had family nearby.
- — We didn't move because it made sense on paper.
We moved because God said go.
What began as a step of faith has become a testimony of God's faithfulness. Since arriving in Florida, we've watched God open doors, transform lives, create divine connections, and confirm His hand upon every step of the journey.
Our story is proof that obedience often feels risky in the beginning, but it becomes revelation in hindsight.
How Altered Church Was Born
God isn't coming back for a comfortable church. He's coming back for an altered church.
A church transformed by His presence.
A church surrendered to His will.
A church that values truth over trends.
A church that pursues holiness without losing compassion.
A church prepared for the times we are living in.
The name "Altered" reflects our belief that true encounters with God should leave us changed.
Not entertained. Not emotionally stirred. But altered.
We believe lives are transformed when people encounter the presence of God, understand His Word, and apply biblical principles to everyday life.
