2. Information We Collect

• Contact info you give us: name and email when you sign up for the movement, submit a prayer request, plan a visit, or join a small group.
• Phone numbers & SMS opt-in: collected only through our chat widget when you explicitly opt in. No other form on this site collects phone numbers or SMS consent.
• Donation info: when you give, payment details are handled by Stripe, PayPal, Cash App, or Zelle — we do not store card numbers on our servers.
• Companion chat: messages you send to the Altered Companion are processed by our AI provider to generate a response.
• Basic technical data: standard web logs (IP, browser, pages viewed) to keep the site secure and improve it.

3. How We Use It

• To follow up on your prayer request, visit, group interest, or message.
• To send you occasional updates about Altered Church (you can unsubscribe anytime).
• To process donations and send receipts.
• To keep the site running securely.

We will never sell your information. We do not buy or sell leads. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. SMS / Text Messages

If you opt in to text messages through our chat widget, message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. We use LeadConnector as our SMS provider.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third parties to run parts of the site: Stripe (card giving), PayPal, Cash App, Zelle, LeadConnector (chat & SMS), Google (analytics/fonts), YouTube (video), and an AI provider for the Companion. Each has its own privacy policy.

6. Your Choices

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your info any time by emailing admin@alteredchurch.com. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email we send you, and from texts by replying STOP.

7. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
